- Occupation: The child was born on 25.5.1860, in Hong Kong, far away from the sight of Macau society. It immediately became urgent to find a solution to this familiar drama which could not be allowed to pass (as it always happened in identical circumstances) without a marriage imposed by the parents of this young girl. For this young mother, orphaned by the death of her father when she was 3 years old and living with her mother who had 8 children in her care, a solution was found within their own family - to marry her first cousin, two months had not passed from the birth of the baby. Thus, on July 29, 1860, Sé Cathredal saw the realization of the marriage of Carolina Maria de Arriaga e Silva to her first cousin, Antonio Jose de Arriaga Brum da Silveira who, almost by fate, was was to be 22 years old on that very day.Her half-brother (4 years younger than Carolina), Augusto Francisco Claudio, was a well respected priest in Macau.7
- Occupation*: Consta que foi educada em casa de D. Áurea Melina da Silva, casada com António Joaquim Basto. It is believed that she was raised in the home of D. Áurea Melina da Silva, married to António Joaquim Basto.
- Marriage*: José Pancrácio da Silva at Sé, Macau.

Almost two months after the birth of her natural child with Fr. Francisco Xavier Anacleto, she married her first cousin, Antonio Jose de Arriaga Brum da Silveira.
Carolina Antonia was only 14 years old when she had her child, which corresponds to the gossip of those days that she was 'muito jovem" - very young. When Father Francisco Xaver Anacleto died in 1888, he left everything to his daughter, the spouse of Jose Pancracio da Silva. vid. Macau e a Sua Diocese, vol. 7, pg. 107.
Her cousin, Manuel Jose de Arriaga Brum da Silveira (1840-1917) was the first elected President of Portugal.5
