Portas do Cerco
This was the Barrier Gate between Macau and China, which originally was on a narrow isthmus before land was reclaimed from the sea.
It was near here that Governor Ferreira do Amaral was assassinated, and from here that Vicente Nicolau de Mesquita sallied forth with a small band to destroy Fort Pak Shan Lan (Passaleão).
